THE CHICKEN RUN 2010

Hello and thank you for the chickens!!!!

Yes it finally happened! The 2nd Chicken Run took place in July this year where 70 more families received two chickens each. Thank you all for buying the pepper!

The families were from two districts in Cambodia (Kampongtrobek and Baphnom). Bellow are some pictures.

In September we will bring back lots of pepper again in case you and or anyone you know might have run out!

By the way....Kampot pepper last month received geographical indicator (GI) status the same as Parma Ham, Champagne, Gorgonzola, Parmegiano-Reggiano, Asagio chease and yes...Melton Mowbray pork pies....!

All best wishes and thanks again!
Nicola & Shunmay

THE CHICKEN RUN 2008

The Chicken Run is a small Charity in Cambodia set up by Nicola-Fee Bahl and Shunmay Yeung. Working with community leaders, teachers and monks in Cambodia, its aim is to identify families in abject need.

Through selling pepper from Cambodia to friends and people who like to contribute, Nicola and Shunmay managed to buy 65 families in two districts two chickens each this year. Each bag of pepper that is sold for £5 will buy a family two chickens.

To find out more about the project and details how you can buy pepper contact Nicola at info@being2being.co.uk. The Chicken Run blog is also, soon to be published.
