Since Nov 2005 I-M-PULSE has been offering a program of unique workshops and journeys which, through an interdisciplinary approach aim to:

Let us meet in the sacred space that is also a dance embrace!

INTRODUCTION WORKSHOP
This workshop is open to all who work with some form of artistic, therapeutic and educational practice, as well as to all those interested in deepening their own creativity, embodied presence and consciousness of their individual spiritual journey. At this level an experience of Shamanism or Argentine Tango is not required, although some previous spiritual and/or body and movement related work can be an advantage.

Through ancient Shamanic methods coupled with contemporary practices rooted in Argentine Tango, we shall attend to our bodies and movement, energy and nature within and around us by engaging our own senses, intuition and imagination. Practically, we shall mostly be working with our posture, walk and other types of simple movement approached via creative improvisation and communication, awareness exercises done indoors and outdoors, breath work, meditation, symbolic and ceremonial work.

Employing Tango as a concept founded in a heart centered connection and non-verbal communication, and Shamanism as a well-trodden holistic method that can help one safely access, release and retrieve various natural energies held and expressed by our bodies, the workshops thus serve as places for relaxation, healing as well as inquiry through which we can transform habits, anxiety and ego constructions.

Come to relax ad get inspired, rebuild and deepen the 'dancing relationship' with yourself and with others, as well as your own creative and spiritual work!

SHAMANIC ART AND
THE DECORATION OF SACRED TOOLS

with Polly Fox-Strangways

Through ceremonial theatre and movement this training hopes to bring the participant to a new place of seeing, where spiritual intoxication enlightens the senses.

This journey will take the participant through a process like the weighing of scales, on one side the void, on the other the colour spectrum. Unfolding at the centre is the object or tool awaiting its decoration. Much depends on what comes through the weighing as to how much to decorate and how much space to leave.

"Relevant sacred art affirms the holy and can assist in magnetizing the witness towards their own spiritual path. In creating spirit-driven decoration the presence of chosen colours and symbology may impart knowledge otherwise veiled."

Polly is a professional Shamanic Artist, teacher of Sacred Art and professional Shamanic Healer. She is able to open up space with a deep sense of trust that brings invitation to the artistically shy.

All equipment supplied. The participant will need to bring the sacred object they wish to paint. No bigger than a beehive.
